Welcome!
Welcome to the official website for Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS. AMBUCS, which is an abbreviation for American Business Clubs, is on a mission to "inspire mobility and independence". We help all varieties of people from small children to military veterans. Our money collected through fundraising allows us to annually provide dozens of AmTrykes (therapeutic tricycles), build wheelchair ramps, provide scholarships to therapists, and donate to charities within the community. Membership is welcome to all. The only thing required is a big heart. Thanks for checking out the website and we encourage you to join us in working "Shoulders Together" to make a difference.

Members Needed

Read more about our club in the About Us tab.
Scholarships to Therapists
Our club hosts an annual luncheon where we recognize therapy scholarship recipients, encourage current students to apply and educate future therapists about helping others through AMBUCS.
Ramp Building
Gary Johnson led a ramp build for a woman with MS. After 7 years, she can finally leave her home without relying on others to come over and lift her and her wheelchair past her front door.

Club Socials
Several times a year, club members and their families meet for an evening social event at a bowling alley, winery, park, brewery or restaurant. It provides an opportunity to build new friendships and strengthen existing ones.
