AMBUCS is "THE FUN WAY TO SERVE"
AMBUCS™ is a national service organization composed of a diverse group of men and women dedicated to creating independence and opportunities for people with disabilities.
CAPROCK AMBUCS is a local chapter in Lubbock, Texas, comprised of professional men and women dedicated to helping others, by raising funds through our projects and donating to various charities.
We are recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under IRS regulations.
There are currently 120+ chapters with
6,000+ members nationwide.
We meet for lunch every Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 at the Holiday Inn on the South Loop and Indiana Avenue.
Visitors are welcome, your lunch is on "us".
Please visit the other areas of our site to review the projects and events we work on, and our activity in the Lubbock community. We are especially proud of our "Caprock Holiday Basketball Tournament". The 49th Tournament will be December 27th, 28th and 29th 2007, and the proceeds are used to support our charities.
